Mossman Trunks

One of the less glamorous departments but nonetheless just as important. The Stores which includes Goods In and Out occupies approximately 7000 sq. ft. This is required to cater for the amount of raw materials and finished goods that 5 Star have. In 2002, 5 Star further increased the Stores area by installing a 1500 sq. ft. mezzanine floor which is predominantly used for the storage of Mossman Trunks finished stock, due to its relatively light weight.

5 Star keep vast stocks of raw materials including timber and covering panels, aluminium extrusion profiles, and of course thousands of case fittings and general hardware. All this is monitored by a networked Stock Control System. We now have a number of suppliers that provide a Consignment Stock facility, ensuring our materials are available when they are required.
