5 Star’s Administration block houses the usual departments such as Design and Quoting, Accounts, Purchasing, Production Planning and Sales and Marketing.

Our I.T. facilities feature up to date systems including twin, high specification servers equipped with quality tape back-up. Terminal Services is also installed enabling many of our staff to work remotely whether at home, on site with a customer or at an exhibition the other side of the world. A new digital telephone system has recently been upgraded.

A key system at 5 Star, not only in the Administration block but throughout the entire site is ‘Prospect’, the company designed Business Software. ‘Prospect’ is a development of more than ten years and has been undertaken by 5 Star and its retained software consultants. The system is completely designed by 5 Star’s technical team with code written by the consultants. This way, the company has entire control over its development. Modules now included in ‘Prospect’ are... 

We have a well equipped Boardroom that doubles up as a training and conference area. IT facilities are installed which include a dedicated training workstation coupled to a 42” LCD display, conveniently mounted in the new TV Lift system case. This display can be utilised by visitors for demonstrations which proves invaluable. Our IT support will be happy to assist.

The entire Administration block is supplied with a high quality secure wireless access point, that is easily accessible by staff and visitors alike.

5 Star’s sales team is based on the upper floor of the administration block. The team includes Design and Quotation and Order Processing, Pictured are (L-R) Andy Harford, Simon Edwards, Natasha Saich, Andy Stockdale and Sue Corbett. Although other people are involved in the sales team, the people shown on the left are the ones you are more likely to talk to or contact.
